Challenges and Solutions in Caring for the Homeless in Our Community
April 21-APRIL 23, 2026

Please review the Registration Policies

Location: Historic Menger Hotel, on the San Antonio RiverWalk $168/night room rate

The 11th Annual Healthcare Institute will convene a diverse group of stakeholders—community members, healthcare providers, nurses, social workers, counselors, educators, and students—to engage in meaningful dialogue on the issue of homelessness. Together, we will explore barriers to care, share best practices, and work toward developing more effective interventions, improved coordination of services, and a renewed commitment to addressing the complex needs of people experiencing homelessness.

We invite you to take part in this important conference—whether as an attendee, presenter, or vendor. Caring for this vulnerable population requires addressing a complex set of interconnected challenges, including limited access to healthcare and preventive services, untreated chronic conditions, heightened risks of mental health concerns and substance use disorders, food and housing insecurity, inadequate access to hygiene facilities, and increased exposure to violence and victimization. Overcoming these barriers demands strong community leadership and collaboration across sectors.
